Aiming to become a professional gamer? Got game tips you can use!
Hello everyone, I'm around 18 and my main passion is playing video games. I spend about 14 hours each day on my computer. My goal is to turn this dream into reality by becoming a professional gamer. I understand the odds are against me, but I’m okay with that. I can’t just jump into a game that’s been played professionally for years, as it would put me at a disadvantage. That’s why I started this thread to ask: Are there any upcoming games in any genre that could be successful in professional play? By starting to play right from the beginning of a new title, I won’t face the same challenges I would with games like CSGO, Dota, or League (which I still enjoy). My aim is to reach the top 1% ranking within a month after the game’s release by dedicating many hours daily to both playing and studying. From that 1% position, I hope to compete with the best. Any recommendations on which games I should focus on? (Also in case I decide to stick to my hobby if things don’t work out) Thanks!
Absolutely, my scopes will stay sharp and responsive. That sounds promising! Even for longer gaming sessions? OP might want to try the next update.
They convey honesty. I'm approaching my 30th birthday and I've observed it's becoming more challenging to score points in any Twitch game as before. I still find it enjoyable, though the performance has noticeably changed.
I’m familiar with several established titles that are already available. You can quickly climb the ranks by playing consistently. Games like Dota 2 and Heartstone offer strong pathways to top positions. Participating in LAN events can also lead to sponsorships or team opportunities. Starting early gives you a better chance, as new releases often disrupt existing hierarchies. The competitive scene evolves fast—especially in games similar to Quake or Overwatch. Tournament structures matter too; clear rules help players compete effectively. Spending time practicing tactics, movement, and teamwork is essential. While some rise naturally, most succeed by balancing passion with dedication. For younger players, focusing on education and a stable career path can complement gaming. It’s important to remember that consistent effort and smart play are key, not just luck.
I discovered that playing a fresh game lets me stay in sync with everyone, even missing a couple of days. The games I’ve enjoyed most are no longer available, and I’ve usually played as a support player.
It seems like you're expressing a common desire among gamers to achieve gaming excellence.
