Hi, I own an Asus RT-AC68U router. I haven’t received a firmware update recently, but a few months ago I saw a notification about a new AiMesh firmware being available. This update needs to be applied manually. There’s also a note below: Note : Manual firmware update will update this AiMesh router / node only. If you’re using the AiMesh system, make sure you’re downloading the correct version. I’m not relying on the AiMesh feature but feel it’s wise to update anyway since no further updates seem to be coming for the regular version. Could anyone clarify what this update does? Does the AiMesh Firmware replace the standard firmware or is it a separate thing? Any guidance would be really appreciated. Cheers, Mav
