I could potentially ruin this machine. I’m trying to save time, but I realize it’s been eight months of hard work with every challenge I faced. The PC is fully assembled—monitor, peripherals—and I’m sure it functions properly. However, it doesn’t connect to the BIOS. I’ve tried numerous methods: pressing DEL, using different keys (DEL, F1, F2, etc.), testing all USB ports, checking monitor inputs, and even swapping cables. Still no success. All guidance points to just pressing the DEL key. I’ve also noticed the keyboard works, the screen operates, but something’s off. I suspect a dead CMOS battery might be the issue, especially since the machine hasn’t been powered on in seven months and the motherboard was never activated. The specs I have include an X670 Auros Elite Ax 7900, Ryzen 9 7900X, WD sn850x, Arctic liquid cooler, and Corsair Vengeance DDR5. If this isn’t working, maybe it’s time to consider selling it for a prebuilt unit. There are also reports of FTPM/PSP NV corruption and a changed system structure, with the logo appearing as “ami” during startup.
Keep the power button pressed and restart your PC. After the recovery options appear, choose Update & Recovery, then Recovery. Click on Advanced, select restart now. After rebooting, go to Troubleshoot, Advanced Options, and then UEFI Firmware Settings, then restart again. This will bring you into the BIOS.
