AI overclock predictions seem excessive.
On my Maximus XI Hero board, I turned on AI OC for overclocking the CPU (i7-8700k). It ran smoothly at a steady 4.9 GHz with 1.3V and no problems or overheating. This morning I noticed it was set to 5.2Ghz at 1.4V, earning a higher score of 204 points with the H150i Pro AIO. However, after the overclock, my computer crashes during startup and I can't reset the AI predictions. I'm trying to re-train or lower it back to 4.9Ghz, but it's not working.
Reset the CMOS and perform your overclocking in the BIOS.
Automated overclockers tend to be quite forceful.
4.9 @1.3v works well.
on the back I/O of the motherboard there is a reset/clear CMOS button. Pressing it will erase the AI OC settings.

Join bios and configure your overclock to reach 5.0ghz. My Hero was unstable at 5.2 before, causing crashes; the bios restarted and stopped increasing the overclock. I successfully run at 5 with no issues. You might notice the bios restarting twice during boot due to saving or backup processes, which is normal.
I adjusted the clocks myself to 5Ghz, yet the temperature climbed to 90c when operating at full capacity after a short time. At 4.9Ghz, the temperature stayed at 78c under full load.
