This growing fixation on the "FOMO AI all-in" trend is likely to face a sharp correction later. Once the excitement fades and people recognize AI and LLMs as practical tools with clear boundaries, the impact on the IT sector will be similar to how synthetic diamonds transformed jewelry—so the term here might just be a coincidental match. At the moment, few understand the true nature of LLMs, their mechanisms, or their capabilities. It’s completely reasonable to feel this way, given how complex and technical these technologies are, essentially endless research across many fields. That’s why businesses tend to chase the first promising player they encounter, treating AI as a generic solution for everything at a low cost.

I truly believe most people aren't interested in AI and prefer their PCs without it, wanting improved interfaces and practical functionality rather than flashy features. Almost everyone can recognize the real intent behind forcing AI everywhere—mostly among those who are misled or automated.
