I followed the vanilla laptop manual and attempted to install mac OS Mojave on my laptop. While trying to boot using AHCI during the installer setup, the drives disappeared and the system restarted. After turning it off, it boots into the installer but I can't access my storage devices.

Usually you need to change the format of the drives before installing. What formats do your drives use?

If you access the installer, you can wipe the storage devices and create a new format. This could fix your problem. *Warning: You will lose all your data.*

The only method to get it running is via RST, but this removes the drives.
