I own the title through Game Pass Ultimate PC, but a support ticket was submitted without any progress on reducing storage and electricity usage. The game typically comes pre-installed with cutscene videos for each of the eight supported languages. Right now, I can't remove the unnecessary files on my system. Could you reach out to a tech expert or a game journalist for assistance?

Be completely honest, people aren't really paying attention. If 58gb feels like a huge waste, wait until you try modern games—size has been standard for years, like a cod warzone at 250gb or bigger now. Also, it’s confusing how it uses electricity; sure, sending that much data isn’t great, but fine, life keeps going. And if you’re asking about default settings, does it mean you can skip other language options during installation?

Yes, file storage typically uses electricity that scales with the size of the data being stored.

I thought he needed to download everything from a data center somewhere, and all the communication between the server and his PC wouldn't have occurred if the game didn’t include it. I wasn’t really convinced that anyone would think storing data consumes power. I also recall the old discussion about whether a full SSD or HDD is heavier than an empty one, so perhaps you’re right.

It's often misunderstood that file storage is connected to a computer's performance. It's more about keeping data safe rather than boosting speed. And even with a large number of files, it rarely reaches 20% of the disk capacity.

It seems the setup procedure doesn’t allow changing language options. The server’s installation files contain electricity waste, and I’m using a 250 GB SSD on my laptop—about 50 GB used so far. Looking at the system requirements, the default install is listed as 80 GB (excluding the 4K HDR Video Pack). It appears most of the extra space comes from additional language folders.
