Just upgraded my i7 3770 to an ryzen 7 3700x. Windows seems to load fine but I am finding games like battlefield v are very slow to load and when playing the game freezes for a half a sexond and the fps sre down as well. Should I reinstall windows?
I haven't updated Windows in years. My laptop has been installed on multiple machines—recently moved from an Intel 6200u to a Ryzen 2500U. My desktop recently changed from a 4570 i5 to a 3700x, and I just copied the old SSD over to the new NVMe drive. Everything is now functioning perfectly.
I only proceed if Windows requires it or I prefer a bigger installation media. I might test it, but it seems like another issue likely, so it will still be reinstalled.
