After upgrading the CPU, the USB device fails to function properly.
Before upgrading the CPU, I had a Core i5 11400 and switched to an i7 11700K. Whenever I try inserting a flash drive or charging cable, it doesn’t connect. The keyboard and mouse still work with the USB port. I removed the CMOS battery and reconnected it, but the issue persists. After reinstalling the CPU drivers, the same problem continues. If this helps: Motherboard model MSI z590-a Pro, CPU i7-11700K, RAM G.Skill Trident 32GB 288-pin DDR4 3200, GPU MSI Radeon RX 6700 XT, power supply Corsair RM850X.
Are the flash drives recognized by the BIOS as bootable options? Has the CPU been replaced? Was the operating system not recently reinstalled?
Check if the rear USB ports are functional too. Make sure the devices are connected to the motherboard before testing.
