After upgrading the CPU and memory, the computer still fails to post.
Hello, I recently upgraded my old i5-7600 to the new i5-12400f and an ASUS B660 Plus. Everything seems connected properly, but the computer still won’t boot. On the motherboard, the boot and VGA LED lights are working, which suggests there’s an issue somewhere. I’ve tried reconnecting both components, and they functioned fine on my previous system. Could you help me figure out what’s going on?
Where the illumination is, there should be an SDAM, CPU, and similar components... Can you identify which one is active?
I have a hard drive and an SSD (the one that's smaller than the hard drive but not as tiny as a mini M.2). I only connected the SSD, which is mounted directly on the system.
