PC starts up following AMD GPU driver updates, yet nothing appears to load. Discord shows no content, and turning off the machine isn’t possible. Running on Windows 11 64-bit.

Check if all components are aligned correctly and functioning as intended. Verify that the power source is activated properly. Ensure there were no missed steps in your setup.

It functioned smoothly before, but after updating the GPU drivers for my RX 580, it suddenly stopped working. It powers on correctly, yet clicking any app always displays a loading screen indefinitely.

I'm unable to interact with the device since I can't click anything. Try connecting the HDMI cable directly to the motherboard instead of the GPU—it doesn't help and just causes the screen to go blank.

You probably don’t have an IGPU, so consider using a different GPU and DDU once more

You should power down the PSU and connect it directly to the motherboard. The Windows restart options won’t work, so you’ll need to manually power off the system.

Give it a shot. Or use igpu just in the UEFI.

This would likely be a hardware issue. The fact that plugging in the cord doesn’t help and the system freezes suggests a problem with the motherboard or its power connection. The Windows update might have caused instability, but it’s not the main cause here. Edited April 3, 2024 by Fat Cat11997

It seems the issue resolved itself without any explanation. You simply restarted it, and it stopped freezing afterward. Thanks for your assistance.
