Updated my Ryzen 2600 to a 5600X and installed the latest BIOS and CPU, but the external WiFi card isn’t working. I have the newest drivers for both Windows and Linux, yet it still doesn’t connect. Could the issue be related to the BIOS settings?

Consider reinstalling it by taking it out, starting from Windows, shutting it down then reinserting it

It helped at times. I’d try one more step: while the system is unplugged, boot into Windows and use Device Manager. Show hidden devices, then uninstall all your Wi-Fi connections. Start fresh. These hidden items are old connections you’ve had before, and I saw your card labeled #3, suggesting another was present. This might happen if you changed the port or an identifier shifted.

Unclear why it’s named Wi-Fi 4, it didn’t have a number before, and it’s the one built into my MOBO.
