I regret not understanding how sensitive DDR5 is with Alder Lake before assembling my system. The idea that a BIOS patch can affect modest XMP settings is surprising. In previous builds, I applied XMP to DDR3 and DDR4 without any problems. I’m starting to question whether I should return the unit if the upcoming BIOS update doesn’t resolve this issue.
