The update changed the format of your local drive to RAW, making it inaccessible. I have crucial work files stored there. Someone can help restore access without losing your data?

Look for hidden John Cena files—you usually can't spot them. But seriously, could you remove it and connect it via USB? I noticed variations in size when plugged into different devices versus USB ports on various computers. It might be related to unusual partitions from the box. Note: My issue started with a blank drive, showing inconsistent sizes such as 1TB versus 4TB. I’m not confident your data is secure.

your laptop uses just one NVMe storage that’s split into two partitions, but after the Windows update only the D drive remains in RAW format. you don’t have any NVMe data available on a USB drive at the moment.

I'd wait for someone more intelligent to jump in and assist then Maybe check the Discord chat?

Ensure you have a backup before proceeding to avoid any more data loss. Begin by opening the start menu, enter "cmd" in the search bar. Click right-click on cmd.exe and select "Run as Administrator". In the command window, input "chkdsk /X /f drive_letter:" or "chkdsk drive_letter: /f" to fix the RAW drive.

I checked online and learned you can't switch from RAW to NTFS without risking data loss. You'll likely have to back up your drive first, then convert it and restore your files. This update seems problematic.

Do you have another machine available to access the storage? If yes, does it recognize the partition as raw?

It all comes down to the situation. If only the partition table record was damaged, restoring it to NTFS on Linux would be straightforward without any formatting. Sadly, I suspect you're not familiar with Linux commands, are you?

Occasionally more advanced software is needed.
