No one really understands what comes next after the open beta. You can keep the game, but it depends on the situation. They don’t necessarily delete your purchase in the game store, and there’s no guarantee of future wipes after the full release.

It may be deleted after the open beta unless you buy the game; if you do, you can retain in-game items, though I’m not sure you can purchase anything until you own the game. If the game allows purchases, those items might stay until you complete the purchase.

Beta isn't same as demo. And most times not close to release (Hearthstone is notable exception). Usual thing is that devs reset stats and progress. Accounts may or may not stay. If there has been any purchases, they are either refunded or available for reclaiming after reset. You can keep game installed. But you can't login (if uses account system) or find any servers (if multiplayer) since those will be closed after beta end. Usually there isn't any kind of stats/progress reset after release. That would bring shitstorm over internet.
