I modified the firmware on my motherboard and now Power Profiles are not accessible. The KDE warning reads: "Power profiles are not supported on your device." I confirmed no changes were made to the configuration, it functioned properly before. On UEFI settings I adjusted values and tried loading default settings, but nothing resolved the issue. During startup I now receive an error that wasn’t present before: (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 1 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 2 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 3 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 4 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 5 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 6 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 7 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 8 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 9 (-524) cpufreq: cpufreq_online: Failed to initialise policy for cpu: 10 (-524) amd_pstate: failed to register with return -19 My CPU has 6 cores and 12 threads. It seems there isn’t an option in BIOS that could have caused this. The changelog for the new firmware is: Update AMD AGESA V2 1.2.0.E to fix the AMD CPU microcode signature verification vulnerability (CVE-2024-36347). Earlier it was AGESA 1.2.0.Cc when everything worked fine. Do you have any advice?
