Hello everyone, I’m facing an issue with my laptop where the audio device drivers for my built-in speakers keep disappearing. It started yesterday when my volume suddenly turned off while my girlfriend was using it to watch videos. After restarting, the problem persisted. I checked the Device Manager and noticed only a few audio-related entries, including the Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS & OED, which reported a code 52 error.
To fix this, I tried several steps: ran Windows Troubleshooter, restarted the PC but it didn’t help, used the DISM and SFC commands, reinstalled the Intel driver, and even reinstalled Realtek audio manager. Still, no audio devices appeared in the manager. Eventually, I had to reset the laptop using cloud backups. Now the issue seems resolved—audio devices appear again in the manager after a restart.
