Hello, I'm facing an issue I couldn't resolve on Google. I purchased a new computer last year and recently discovered that the Windows Task Manager displays my RAM clock speed as 1067 MHz. Initially, I assumed I had the wrong RAM, but it turned out otherwise. After searching online, I came across comments suggesting the value should be doubled (3200 MHz) or indicated it was an SPD RAM. However, if I double the Task Manager reading, it shows 2133 MHz. Shouldn't it be closer to 3200? I verified the RAM timings using CPU-Z and found them at 1066.4 MHz. When I tried enabling A-XMP, which adjusts clock speeds automatically, I set it to 3200 MHz and activated it. After booting up, the Task Manager initially showed either 1600 or 3200 MHz, but my computer would freeze for about a second each minute. Could you help clarify this? Please let me know if you have any advice or explanation! Here are my details: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Memory: 32GB G.Skill RipJaws V Black DDR4-3200 DIMM CL16 Dual Kit Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS AMD X570 SoAM4 Dual Channel DDR4 Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER PSU: 600 watts be quiet! Pure Power 11 CM

Recent updates include enhanced BIOS features, ensuring smoother performance management. XMP applies automatically without manual CPU adjustments—setting it to default avoids unintended overclocking. The BIOS does not prompt during activation.

I reviewed the changelog for the new BIOS release, but there were no updates. The only modifications affected UEFI and M.2, and I attempted the update after a BIOS reset without altering CPU settings. When I enable this feature, the BIOS remains silent; it only displays changes when I decide to exit.

Yes, I can capture the change list while enabling XMP and leaving all other settings unchanged.

This situation is very concerning, your core value shouldn't be that high. Please revise your profile.

You were correct. The issue was the outdated BIOS. I should have checked again. Thanks!
