Hey, I’m really struggling here. I pushed my GPU and CPU to their limits using MSI Afterburner, tweaked the core clock to 125 MHz and memory clock to 400 MHz. I had a GTX 1080 and an Intel Core i7 8700, but after doing all that overclocking, I didn’t notice any improvement. Then I reset everything back to normal. But when I tried to boot up, it took longer than usual—about five extra seconds—and my PC took ten more seconds to shut down. There’s something wrong with the boot process and the SSD. Could you help me figure out what might be causing this slowdown? No one seems to have a clear answer.

Before we move forward, you should list your specs like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Are you sure it's an i7-8700 and not the i7-8700K? If it's a non-K suffix processor, how did you overclock on your platform?

I understand i can't go beyond overclocking the i7 8700, so i set it to 400 on memory clock because i wasn't sure it would work. I don't fully grasp all these specs, but i'm certain i have an i7 8700, a gtx 1080, ssd, 16 ram, and a decent cooler.
