Hello people,I decided after some years of absence from pc gaming to build a new pc.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D(4,2)
Sapphire Radeon Rx 6700 XT Pulse 12 gb
Corsair Desktop Ram Vengeance Lpx 32 gb(2x16)
Samsung Ssd980 Nvme M.2 1 tb
Be Quiet!Psu Straight power 11 series 750W 80+ gold
Gigabyte motherboard B650m DS3h
Sharkoon Midi ATX Tower TG4 RGB Modi tower
Be quiet! Cooler Dark rock pro 44
Tell what you think of the pc I am trying to build.Do you think that maybe I should buy an older CPU and buy a better GPU? The pc will be used mostly for gaming and Autocad.
Thanks in advance fellow members
I used one of these for 3440x1440p at 120Hz gaming, but it was quite disappointing. Most demanding games barely reached 60fps with the highest settings, and when RT effects were on, they became unplayable. I switched to an RTX 3080 Ti and now get around 120fps in the same games with the same settings.
I also suggest using multiple drives. One 256GB-1TB SSD for the operating system and apps, another 1-4TB SSD for games, and a bigger drive for storage and backups.
given the current low prices on ssds, it's wise to opt for a small nvme one for operating systems and applications, while using a larger ssd for the remaining storage.
It goes well past my budget, buddy 😞
I’ll mainly run at 2k instead of 4k
What settings were you using? Ray tracing and Nvidia stuff can really strain Amd cards.
I will add more later for sure, this build is just the beginning.
What matters most to me is avoiding the need to adjust CPU or GPU in the next four years so I can play new games smoothly (I don’t mind Ultra max settings; I just want games to run well in high settings). I’m not concerned about lowering certain settings like ray tracing, etc.
You're wondering if it's worth skipping this card in favor of something pricier. Your budget is tight, and higher-end cards would add around 300 to 400 euros more. The one you mentioned is listed between 1400 and 2000 euros, which is about 1000 to 1500 euros more than the Rx 6700. Are there any alternatives that are a bit more expensive but still within your budget?
