I'm still getting this Linux stuff mixed up. You're trying to set up a dual-boot system with Windows 10 and EFI, but the Nvidia driver keeps popping up when you install it. It says your system is secure and needs a key merge, then asks for a password after installation. After fixing that, you reboot and start Ubuntu, but then you see a strange blue screen asking about secure boot keys. You have to merge and enter the password you created. Everything seems to work now, except when you try to boot again—it turns off and doesn't start properly. You've reinstalled Ubuntu several times already because of this issue. What should I do next?
Turning off secure boot seems like a good idea, perhaps you should also keep using version 16.04 until the 18.04.1 update. Since each new Ubuntu release brings many bugs and oddities in the initial versions, it might be worth a shot. I also saw this on GitHub but it could be worth trying. https://gist.github.com/Rambou/c6769caee...2b86c3ef72
