I purchased this system roughly two years back, built it from scratch. It’s mainly for gaming and work tasks. I’m not very experienced with memory problems, but what I do know is that the first generation Ryzen was quite strict about RAM sticks until some BIOS updates expanded the available slots. For this situation, my initial advice would be to set it up in a BIOS mode where you can check for updates and see if it’s outdated. If it is, update the BIOS and try your 4x4GB setup again.
