I have every part minus the fans but I built the entire PC using the CPU cooler and the 2 case fans that come in the case. Once I plugged it in everything worked perfectly fine. Was able to go into the BIOS and was also able to install windows 11. So after doing all this I turned off the PSU and then unplugged the power altogether while I waited on the fans to arrive. Well the fans came in yesterday and I installed all the fans along with the RGB header. I had to take the GPU out in order to screw in the fans on the front of the case but that was the only component I touched. Once everything was installed I plugged everything back in and flipped the PSU on and nothing at all. The logo on the mobo doesn’t light up or any of the 3/4 LEDs for diagnostics. The only light I have is a blinking red light on the GPU that my google searching says is the GPU isn’t getting enough power. I made sure the GPU was seated properly and all cables were fully connected and I can’t seem to find where my issue lies. I tried disconnecting the fans to see if that was the issue but still nothing at all. Any ideas? Thanks.
Reinstall all power connectors making sure they’re fully seated. They can sometimes be tricky to get in place. Re-seat your RAM module. Re-seat the GPU. Keep the case fans off until now. If the issue resolved before the fan installation and persists, it’s likely a seating problem or a wiring fault (short circuit). By keeping the fans off, you ensure the system boots properly first. After reconnecting, test again to see if the problem returns.
I replaced all the connectors on the power supply side and reattached the 24-pin connector on the motherboard, but the issue remained unchanged.
I’m currently at work but I’ll attempt to reposition everything upon returning or tomorrow morning. The GPU appears stable since I’ve reinserted it twice after removing it from the motherboard, though I’ll verify my CPU connections as well. Could those be the only points stopping power delivery? I also have an additional PSU available in Tit that I could test, but it doesn’t make sense to use a brand-new unit given it was functioning well for four days before.
The RGB header was linked to SATA cables coming from the power supply unit, while the controller was connected to a USB port on the motherboard.
