Yesterday I upgraded my GPU. I changed from rx 470 to rx 6750xt. I removed all drivers using DDU and installed the latest ones for rx 6750 xt. The game I play is Farming Simulator 25. It was showing stutter and crashes when I ALT+TAB, so I uninstalled drivers without the adrenalin software. Now it runs well, but the ALT+TAB issue still exists. When I ALT+TAB and watch YouTube for a few minutes, the game crashes silently without any error. Disabling REBAR didn’t help. I ran UNIGINE Superposition; its score was average among 6750xts. I also tested furmark for 30 minutes and the GPU stayed under 90°C. Can anyone assist? My hardware is a Ryzen 5 3300x with stock cooler, an Asus B550M-K Patriot 16GB kit at 3600MT/s, 750W, and an Asus TUF Gaming XFX. The previous GPU was Asus Strix rx 470. Consider a fresh setup of your Windows. It might be time-consuming, but it appears to be the easiest solution here. I usually perform a clean install whenever I upgrade my hardware—except perhaps for storage, case, cooler, or power supply.
Hi, thanks for the guidance. I'm planning to replace my CPU in two weeks since the GPU upgrade was delayed due to a bent pin on the CPU. After installation, I'll reinstall Windows. I've already tried reinstalling the game, checking the files, and updating the GPU drivers, but nothing has changed. I'll share an update once I receive the new CPU and complete the Windows reinstall.
Hi, I chose to avoid waiting if I need to return the GPU. I reinstalled Windows and downloaded the newest drivers, but the issue persists. I observed that no AMD-related drivers list Farming Simulator 25, though I believe it should perform better than RX 470... at least without crashes. Do you have any additional advice? Thanks!
