To begin with, here’s my setup: Build MSI B650M Gaming Plus WiFi AM5 (MOTHERBOARD) Kingston Fury Beast DDR5 @ 6000MHz 32GB (RAM KF560C36BWEAK2) Ryzen 7 7800X3D (CPU) – no graphics card. Integrated only. Currently, all parts are assembled on a testbench at my desk. Everything fits, works, and responds properly from the BIOS. Once I switch to Windows, everything functions smoothly until I install the AMD drivers (from official site or MSI Centre). After rebooting, I encounter inconsistent graphical issues each time, regardless of the variation. I’ve tried reinstalling on Windows 10 and 11, but results differ. On Windows 10, after installing drivers, the login screen freezes, flickers, and becomes unresponsive; it takes about ten seconds for the prompt to appear after pressing space. Typing the password is difficult because the screen is completely dark. When I power on, Driver Utility shows an incompatibility warning and claims instability. I want to stress this: the system isn’t functional overall. Regarding self-help, someone suggested that setting the motherboard and RAM to EXPO mode might be the issue—possibly because graphics memory isn’t reserved properly. I reset my BIOS, which disabled EXPO and XMP. I updated my BIOS to the latest version. I reinstalled Windows 10 and 11 three times from various sources to avoid corruption. I’ve tested with both SSD (NVMe and SATA) and HDD drives, as well as older driver versions from MSI Download Utility and AMD’s official site. None have worked. I’m uncertain whether adding a graphics card will resolve this problem.

Use DDU to fully eliminate existing AMD drivers. Restart the system and then attempt to install the newest drivers from AMD’s official site once more. 2) Launch Windows in Safe Mode after installing the drivers to determine if the issue continues. If the system runs smoothly in Safe Mode, it may point to a conflict between GPU drivers and other components or software. 3) Investigate RAM and Memory Problems – test with a single stick of RAM. 4) Update AMD Chipset Drivers. 5) Test with an external graphics card. If these steps don’t fix the issue, consider running the hardware on another motherboard to check for compatibility problems.

It might be me talking too much, but the issue occurred when Windows wasn’t fully updated. Hope this gives you some clarity.
