After I cleaned my PC, it started beeping.
I cleaned my PC and had a Tuf B450M-plus gaming motherboard with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660. It worked fine before, but after cleaning, it stopped functioning properly. After reapplying thermal paste and reconnecting everything, turning it on caused a black screen and a beep pattern of one long beep followed by three short beeps. I then replaced the RAM and GPU multiple times, but the problem persisted. Any suggestions?
Verify the power connections to the GPU are secure on both sides, including the PSU side if modular. Run the GPU on another system to ensure stability after recent cleaning steps—such as removing components. Have you just reflashed the CPU or the GPU as well?
The issue involves conventional or extended memory failure. Remove any added memory or reinsert the installed sticks. I recommend first resetting the CMOS, then testing one memory stick at a time in different slots. If this doesn’t resolve the problem, try removing the CPU, checking the socket for bent pins, and reinstalling the CPU—possibly due to improper seating causing channel failures.
