After crashing in Battlefield 4, there is no sound left.
I was playing Battlefield 4 when a BSOD appeared. After restarting, I booted up the game again but it didn’t play properly. I tried reinstalling it, which fixed the issue. Since then, the game has crashed twice—once due to an unstable overclock (I reinstalled it) and once because something fell and hit the switch on my surge protector (IKYN). I’m not sure why the sound doesn’t work now. All my drivers are up-to-date, but BF4 still doesn’t play correctly.
Have you looked in Device Manager or your audio drivers to confirm everything is showing and functioning properly?
others suggest turning off Windows Defender, adjusting the audio configuration files, or modifying the sound settings to alter the audio quality. Additionally, experimenting with various audio jacks or using an audio-through-USB might help.
I've attempted all those solutions and believe the issue lies with my Origin games overall. I also face a problem with Madden 19, though it can play audio through other sources besides my headphones. I tried connecting various devices to my PC for Battlefield 4, but nothing worked. I reinstalled the drivers and followed all the advice from the forum you shared.
