I chose to swap out the thermal paste on my 10-year-old Lenovo prebuilt (CIH81M). When it was time to power it up, it wouldn't start. All connections were intact and the motherboard appeared to receive power. The CPU cooler was also securely installed. Need assistance!
You likely hit the RAM. Re-seating it should resolve the issue.
Ensure the CPU fan header is securely fastened. If needed, gently remove and reinsert it several times for a solid connection.
This might be a stretch, but do you perhaps have a Buzzer hanging around? It might help single out the specific issue you're encountering
