After building the red-yellow light
After building the red-yellow light
Hi everyone,
Yesterday I put together the PC from case. While assembling it, I noticed red and yellow lights with three long beeps, but it didn’t boot. After leaving it open for a few hours with only one RAM installed, it started working. Once I added the second RAM, everything functioned properly. I used it, installed the OS, drivers, games, even played a bit. Recently, when I disassembled it for some time, it took a couple of hours. Now, after reassembling it in the case, trying to boot again produced the same red and yellow light issue. What might be causing this?
Specs below:
AMD Ryzen 9 7900 3.70 Ghz

Sapphire Radeon RX 7900 XTX Nitro+ Gaming OC Vapor-X 24GB GDDR6
Samsung 4TB 990 EVO PLUS NVMe 2.0

Revert to one stick of RAM in slot A2, then check if you can enter BIOS. At this stage, note the BIOS version currently active.

How are you keeping the processor cool?
It showed red and yellow lights.

Page 49, CPU and/or RAM problem. Since the memory controller is now on the CPU die, it’s likely the processor is being stressed beyond its limits, leading to this issue. Try reducing pressure from the cooler’s mounting while the case is open.
I attempted to desocket one RAM and omitted one slot a2, then left out slot a2 again while also trying to ease pressure on the processor, but the issue persisted.
Because the sole variation is attaching the motherboard to the case, it might indicate a mounting screw is causing a short or the board is bending unexpectedly, leading to an issue.
