Hello, new member to the forum. Please accept my apologies if my message seems unconventional or contains errors. I've been having trouble getting my PC to boot after the BIOS update—after two weeks it won't start past the BIOS screen. The specs I have are 11400f, ASRock B560 Pro 4, GTX 760, EVGA 750W gold PSU, 16GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, a crucial P2 M.2 with 1TB, plus a 1TB SATA hard drive. I've run diagnostics on RAM, PSU, GPU, motherboard, and even swapped in different M.2 and SATA drives without success. The issue seems to appear only after BIOS changes, with the ASRock logo showing up and a black screen. I've checked everything else, but nothing seems to fix it.
I'm at the end of my troubleshooting and the CPU's return window has closed. I don't have another compatible LGA1200 CPU to test. After all the checks, I thought the motherboard might be faulty and replaced it, but the problem persisted with a new board. The BIOS is up to date. I've reset CMOS multiple times, but it still doesn't help.
If I could reboot the PC without the installation drive, it would work perfectly—just turn it on and off. But once I remove the installation drive, it gets stuck again. If everything functions fine without it, then removing one of the 8GB RAM sticks seems to trigger the failure. I've tried updating Windows when it worked, but it's unclear if the version on the installation drive conflicts with my hardware.
I'm open to any advice or tips you might have, especially regarding similar issues. Thanks for your help, Mark.
