A few months back, a person assisted me in accessing all BIOS options by flashing the BIOS with the modified version. I experimented with the BIOS settings, switched the display from "sg" to "auto," and after restarting, there was no visible output on the screen. There were several other options available, but I couldn't recall them properly. I need to adjust the display output in BIOS. What should I do? I attempted: connecting HDMI, using the VGA port, but still no output. Resetting the BIOS by desoldering and soldering the RTC battery (I didn’t find a CMOS battery). Re-seating the RAM. Lenovo Z410 Core I5-4200M BIOS version: 8dcn38ww (modified, unlocked) OS: Windows 10 64-bit. Thank you to anyone who helped; your support means a lot.

Press the startup button hard when launching the laptop. Wait a moment. Use F9 to adjust settings, then press F10 and Enter. The BIOS should reset to defaults.

If it doesn't work, you can take apart the device and remove the CMOS battery. It might be a socketed CR2032 coin from a desktop board or a coin with a plastic cover and red/black wires leading to a header. I'm also interested in the BIOS—want to check with AmiBCP to see if it's just hiding settings or adding new ones.

I already tried that; apparently there's nothing wired in cmos1 solder point (which I presume is the slot for Cmos battery). Although I did find a real-time clock battery, which was labeled rtc1 on the motherboard,. i already unsoldered the rtc1, waited until morning, and then solder it back in. which nothing happens; it still has no display output at all.
