This is a very weird problem which I haven't seen anyone else run into and as you can tell, it kind of bothers me. My CPU is a old, shitty Fx 6300, running at 3,5 GHZ. Whenever I try to overclock it to get some extra performance out of it, my GPU gets way worse, than it should. My Unigine Valley benchmark decreases my like 4-5 fps and UserBenchmarks says my GPU is "performing way below expectations", while usually it is "way above average". I haven't seen any thermal throttling and my CPU's performance stays pretty much the same. Im overclocking with BIOS and have a choice of increasing PCI clock and CPU clock, I usually don't touch "PCI clock," as I've heard it can damage my GPU. What could be the problem? Any help greatly appreciated
My specs:
FX 6300 @3.5 ghz
asus strix 1060 6gb oc edition
12 gb 1333 mhz corsair value
ASRock 970 extreme 3 r2.0
corsair vs550
Artic freezer 7 pro

Consider using an ASRock OC tuner for overclocking rather than relying on the BIOS.
