After 12 hours in Witcher 2, it’s easy to feel drained—why not switch to something else?
I don't really believe you need to finish TW2 to enjoy TW3. A few sections will feel more thrilling because they connect to events from TW2, but overall I don't think it's essential. I'd recommend finishing TW2, since the time in TW3 could address some of those minor issues that hinder its enjoyment. Right now it's just a solid game, though a few things break my immersion. Cheers!
