No problem, here are some reliable sites you can use to buy Windows 11 keys: Microsoft’s official website, GOG, and certain authorized resellers. Always verify the seller’s reputation before purchasing.

There isn't any point in thinking about "cheap" at all. The best you can do is check the grey market seller's profile—see how many keys they've sold and how many negative reviews they have—and decide whether to take the risk. So far, I haven't been scammed with any of my purchases from this side, though. If it sounds too good to be true... it probably is. But honestly, at the price they're charging for a key, it feels like a small price to pay. It's worth it.

We don't support connections to gray market "cheap Windows key" sellers or third-party activation tools that involve piracy. These sources typically distribute keys intended for developing regions, copied from corporate setups, taken from refurbished computers, or created using keygens. The key you receive may be functional temporarily, but it could become invalid as Microsoft adds blacklists or it might remain usable indefinitely. As with many situations, the buyer beware—results can vary. For the most reliable option, purchase directly from Microsoft or an authorized reseller in your area.

Many online shops offer genuine product keys. Verify the site hasn’t been created recently and avoid platforms that list multiple sellers.

Consider this as an investment. You invest $140 today, expecting it to last at least five more years. This would equate to roughly $30 a year or $3 a month. Reflect on other components of your PC—your motherboard should retain similar value and longevity. Your GPU is three to five times more expensive and will likely need replacement sooner.

It would be beneficial if Microsoft guaranteed the key could remain functional across future operating systems for up to ten years. Currently, purchasing a W11 key means relying on the possibility that it will continue to work with upcoming versions—whether they rename it or change its name entirely. I previously acquired two genuine W7 Pro keys from an official university store and via MS’s Spark website. They cost $30 and $40, with home/Pro versions priced identically. I successfully used them on both W10 and W11. However, after the launch of W11, Microsoft reportedly disabled these keys for new installations. Now, should I ever reinstall the OS, I’d need assurance it will still function, or I might have to switch methods. You could argue I received good value, but if I had spent $200 upfront for the Pro edition, I’d want clear information about its lifespan. For that price point, knowing the validity period would be crucial. At this stage, most PCs come pre-built with OEM keys, and DIY builders are likely to opt for cheaper alternatives. People invest time searching for ways to save money on components like SSDs, yet they’re unwilling to pay $140 for an unlicensed license. I believe whenever someone pays that amount for the official version, it signals a concern at Microsoft’s leadership about how far they’ll go to make licensing more flexible.

Checking Techspot's website for genuine keys appears safe. The pricing looks suspicious, but the store seems trustworthy.
