Affordable motherboards available Low-cost options for motherboard purchases
Hi there! I'm just starting out in PC building and on a tighter budget. I'm looking for a solid motherboard that supports Intel chipsets.
I prefer Gigabyte boards since they come with a three-year warranty, whereas most other big brands only offer one year.
Most reviews focus on these few options (excluding Biostar). Opinions vary widely. For a 10,400F processor, you don’t need to invest more than $200 on a board—up to $250 if you want extra upgrade space or like the look. The A400 tends to cause reliability issues with SSDs, while the H510 offers poor cooling and might lead to overheating after upgrades.
I still have an old GPU, but if I upgrade, my budget is tight. These things are really pricey these days, so it feels silly to replace them now.
I don't have a GPU, and there are currently no available new GPUs in stock.
Honestly, I don't recall anything. I'm currently not at home. It seems like a Nvidia 920M might be correct.
