They could work well for my home setup but you might lose bandwidth based on hop distance limits of the equipment and the maximum capacity of the repeaters. I use Xfi Pods from work and they perform adequately for most applications. The weakest link I tested was around 75 to 78 Mbps down at the lowest speed.
