Logitech 3D Extreme Pro could be among the most affordable options available. It might not be in stock everywhere, which could explain the higher price. The cost usually ranges from $32 to $35 in the U.S., and it's not unusual for prices to vary by currency—especially when compared to Canadian dollars.

You're using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, which works well enough for now despite being a bit one-handed. The lack of ambidexterity is a minor inconvenience, especially in your HOMAS configuration, but it's a temporary fix that fits the budget. As for the avatar icon issue, it seems to be showing correctly this time—maybe a recent update or glitch?

It’s around £40 or more, so I could grab a budget hotas or a second stick, but if it’s out of stock I’d buy elsewhere (I’m selective about sellers). The V1 seems to get good reviews and a colleague at work owns one, saying it’s a solid starter stick. Edit: shared with Napper198—I’ll let you know how it goes. My profile pic is broken, and I can’t find a copy. The 90s are craving their space sims again.

They're considering a version with an A screen, which could be a bit pricier but might offer better tracking for your keyboard and mouse if you use gimballed weapons. The team is collaborating with RobertSpaceIndusties and taking community feedback into account, so it should have solid features. My suggestion is to hold off and wait—my roommate got a $200 model that he really likes, though he had trouble attaching a small mouse ball. More options are expected soon for this game.

Sure, I'm aiming for affordable options until they're available.

I remain concerned. The x52 model offers lower precision compared to similar cheaper options, while the x55 had awkward button placement that wasn’t very comfortable. The x6* line featured a rigid force sensor stick. Beyond the technical aspects, it raises questions about the actual feel and performance. If you purchase later, please share thorough reviews about your experience.

They mentioned it at AtV, so open feedback is coming. It’s possible we might get a mk2 or mk3 eventually.

I might have just bought a Logitech Extreme 3D pro for 30 euros.
