Hello, based on your request, I'm searching for an affordable i7 7700k ITX motherboard. The Gigabyte GA-H110N is a budget-friendly option around 70€, while the Asus Maximus VIII Impact Z170 is still reasonably priced at about 100€ and geared more toward gaming. Since you can't overclock the H110 and your GTX 1060 is already limiting performance, I'm wondering if the extra features of the Z170 justify the slight price difference. Would you prefer one option over the other? Are there any other good choices under 100€ worth considering? Thanks in advance!
Isn't the 7700k model no longer produced? It seems the used sector might be the best place to check.
I checked before but it wasn’t easy to locate affordable ITX boards locally. International searches are limited since few items reach my area. Those two boards were among the few I found online, and they actually ship to Austria.
Uncertain about the performance gains from an OC. Some, but not as much as before. It seems more related to ports. The Z series might offer better ports.
