I just created this on Amazon, but it’s going to cost a lot of effort to save the 450.

It's exciting to see it coming together, but it'll really pay off when you assemble the rig. My RTX 2070 Super just arrived today, and I'm eager to use it after work. This is the last part of my upgrade plan, giving me a setup that matches my preferences. The price was higher than expected, considering the cost of tech here is usually greater than in the U.S., but I've managed to find good deals sometimes, even matching U.S. prices.

I hope you find your bouncy traced rays satisfying. Previously I struggled with gaming on the iGPU, the 6530D, but now with my RX 570 I’m experiencing the boundaries of my CPU. My current speed is around 3.432 GHz after boosting from 2.7, and my RAM sits at 1664 MHz (9-9-9-24-33) compared to the stock 1600 MHz. For example, the CS:GO benchmark shows me in the low teens or single digits.

I intend to proceed, though my earlier skills were confined to what my GTX 1060 3gb could handle. Talking about boosting, my prior CPU (i7-3770k) reached its limit at 4.1 and I used XMP for 2666MHz RAM. I haven’t yet adjusted my current CPU since I want it on a watercooling setup (probably an AIO) before moving to the i5-8600k.

I believe your new cooler can manage a light overclock, while my previous one kept temperatures stable. I think yours is of higher quality. I’m not suggesting extreme settings, but 4GHz should work fine. I added two Arctic fans to the cooler since the included one wasn’t great.

I could try it out now. Right now the peak temperature reached was 63°C while playing GTA V at the highest recommended settings using GeForce Experience. I plan to fine-tune the fan curve slightly to match the overclock, then monitor the results.

Good luck! Right now your CPU is running at around 1.55V, but you're increasing the voltage to boost its performance as shown by the hardware monitor.

You might consider using a refurbished workstation and expanding it until you can afford a fresh setup. Locating a used i5 4th generation chip around $200 is quite straightforward. While it may not be the ideal upgrade, it could serve you well for short-term needs if it proves useful temporarily.
