He recently got a laptop and I'm searching for affordable or free games to play together. They should run smoothly on his system with an i5 4200 and be easy to install, ideally under $5 on Steam or under $10 if I already own the game. I'm only looking for options that fit his hardware limitations.
For CS:GO you don’t need to download textures or similar files like in Gmod. It’s a separate game with its own assets. Counter-Strike: Source is not required for CS:GO.
