I help at Office Depot where we sell a variety of shovelware puzzle and slot games for just $2. Some titles stand out, like Jagged Alliance Crossfire, Back in Action, The First Templar, and Legends of Pegasus. While most have mixed reviews, I’m curious—have you played any of these three? Would you recommend them?

I'm unfamiliar with those games. I've played a lot in my life, but I haven't encountered them before. I think I'll go with your offer for $8 and grab something from the Steam sale instead. Shovelware isn't appealing to me.

I've experienced Jagged Alliance 2 prior; it's a classic tactical shooter that these updates seem to be reworking.

Jagged Alliance Crossfire seems to be an even more challenging XCOM Enemy Unknown or Doorkicker. The First Templar would feel like a tougher version of Dragon Age's Inquisition Legends of Pegasus—consider using FTL instead.

It looks like Legends of Pegasus is widely disliked, and it seems to be ignored on Steam as well. Thought I’d inquire about it.

Eh, no harm no gain. If you feel like putting your few bucks into games like that go for it. If you haven't tried any of the games I mentioned instead of playing those, definately go do that instead. If you have the cash of course.

The only game I purchased from that collection was Age of Mythology, clearly favored by strategy enthusiasts, though it isn't compatible with Windows 10. Of course. lol

It doesn't seem to be that great anymore. I recall hearing positive things about it in the past, but now I'm not convinced.

It seems a particular storage setup is fully restricted in Windows 10. It functions on older versions like 7, 8, and 8.1, but not on Windows 10. The only solution mentioned is using a virtual machine.

Sounds like it's not worth the trouble after all.
