Hi everyone, I have 2x HP NC523SFP 10gb Nics for my workstation and one in my Unraid server. Since the Nics don’t support Windows 10, I installed the Server 2012 drivers which made them show up. The issue is that the SFPD cable isn’t connected. Is this a problem with the Nics or the cable itself? Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks, DaButterGamer

Both the unraid and Windows systems indicate there’s no cable present. This seems to point to a connectivity problem, possibly due to faulty connectors. Make sure you’ve installed them properly—once they’re securely connected, you’ll notice the issue resolves.

I've tested connecting both ends of the connector on my PC and the activity LEDs begin blinking. I also tried the same with my Unraid server, but the LEDs don't blink there. I'm guessing it's either a bad NIC or a driver problem. But in Unraid, the NIC seems to be working. Any advice? DaButterGamer

Consider changing the NIC settings to verify functionality on the Windows machine. Success suggests a driver or OS problem on the unraids side.
