I see what's happening here. The build worked fine until you changed the CUDA settings in AE, which required updating the driver. It’s a common issue with software updates affecting performance. Your experience is valid—make sure to follow the correct steps for both the driver and the .txt file.

It seems the latest GPU design might not work well with AE yet. A fix or updated software will likely be needed.

I hope they address this matter. It would be frustrating to purchase a newer 970 or 980 model without the ability to leverage GPU acceleration. I’m curious if others with a 9xx GPU face similar challenges in video editing software.

yeah ill be installing a renderer there tomorrow if they dont give some info, to see if that works
