I recently assembled a new PC and have been facing intermittent crashes. These incidents are not very frequent, and the Windows event logs do not display any errors.

Crash Details: The system remains powered on but the monitor fails to receive any signal. I cannot power off the PC using the case's power button, and even force shutting it down doesn't resolve the issue. The only workaround is to switch off the PSU switch, then restart the computer normally after re-enabling it.

Testing: Multiple CPU and GPU stress tests have been conducted without triggering any crashes. The problem isn’t tied to heavy workloads or gaming; it occurs randomly even when the PC is idle. Temperatures for both CPU and GPU are within normal ranges. No overclocking has been performed, and I ran MemTest86 with four passes without encountering errors.

Previous Attempts: I tried reseating RAM and GPU, verified the GPU power connector, updated chipset and GPU drivers via DDU, reduced XMP profile to 5000 MT/s, and updated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi drivers from Gigabyte’s site. Also, I removed all USB devices from Device Manager to allow Windows updates after a restart.

System Specs:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M Gaming X AX v1.3
- RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 5200MHz (CMK16GX5M1B5200C40)
- CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X
- GPU: Asus Dual Radeon RX 6650 XT
- PSU: Deepcool PK550D Bronze Non-Modular (550W)
- SSD: Lexar NM610 PRO 1TB
- Cooler: Deepcool AG400 Plus Single Tower 120mm CPU Cooler

Please let me know if anyone has encountered similar problems. I’m currently disabling XMP and will update if the crashes return.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
PSU: Deepcool PK550D Bronze Non-Modular PSU (550 Watt)
GPU: Asus Dual Radeon RX 6650 XT
Recommended PSU for this build is 650W.
We'll be back.
Can you find a higher wattage, well-built unit to test?
Motherboard: Gigabyte B650M Gaming X AX v1.3
BIOS version for your motherboard?

The BIOS version on the motherboard is FA2b. I’m unable to find another power supply unit, and I also lack the funds for a replacement. I’ve attempted to turn off Global C states and Low current idle for the PSU; I’ll let you know if this resolves the issues.
