Advice on PC upgrade
Hello all,
My Call of Duty Warzone isn't working on my PC anymore. I checked the system requirements and found that my CPU isn't compatible. The recommendation is an Intel Core i3-4340, but I wanted to verify compatibility before purchasing it. My current setup includes a print screen as well:
Video card: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Operating system: Windows 10
Additionally, I'm using Windows 10 without ever paying for it. I signed up and started using it, but never bought the full version. A friend mentioned this could be an issue since there are no updates. Is that accurate?
Thanks in advance for your assistance!
Upload a screenshot of the Memory and SPD tab from CPU-Z to check the current settings. This will help us understand the configuration.
Your device is a Crucial 2400 CL17, possibly running at CL16 or CL18.
You might consider purchasing another identical module for dual-channel operation, allowing both units to function without issues at 2400 CL16.
I’d recommend a 2x8GB 3200 kit for a potential improvement of 10-15fps over the 2x8GB 2400 model.
Price details vary by region; in the US, a 2x8GB 3200 CL16 is typically priced between $65 and $85.
About windows is actually correct—it's the same thing. There are a few small variations, but they're not significant. I only see your operating system and your graphics card; what about the rest of your system?
Thank you for your response. I would have received a notification otherwise, so I didn’t get back to you sooner. Appreciate you informing me about the windows programme.
The rest of my system is as follows:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Quad-Core
Video Card: GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
Operating System: Windows 10
RAM: 8GB
Motherboard: ASRock AB350m-HDV
Hard Drive: WDC wd10ezex-60wn4a0
You don't have an SSD, that's why.
If you can, buy a 240gb SATA SSD for Windows—it should cost around 30 dollars most places worldwide.

What types of games do you play, some are CPU focused and others are GPU heavy? Also, please upgrade the RAM to 16GB. If you can't afford a 2x8GB 3200MHz setup, which is quite common now, could you provide the exact model number of your current RAM? This will help ensure compatibility when purchasing the same type.
Sorry, I didn't receive your second message. I mostly play COD Warzone, which suggests it needs the Intel Core i3-4340, so it might be more demanding on the CPU. The kit you shared seems a bit beyond my budget, but I'll consider boosting the RAM. Thanks!
I3 4340 performs much worse than your r3 1200.Warzone and won't run smoothly with just 8gb of RAM. You might consider a 10900k with a 3090 and 8gb of RAM, but it would struggle to hit 30 fps. A 2x8gb 3200mhz system would cost around $70, so keep that in mind. The main issue is your lack of 16gb of RAM. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/4rKYv01oetE. After the RAM upgrade, your CPU performance would definitely improve.
