Advice on enhancing performance of an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti with 6GB RAM?
Hey there,
Check this out:

OC Nvidia GPUs are no longer the best choice. The GPU uses built-in algorithms to reach the highest possible clock speeds within specific thermal and voltage constraints. It constantly maximizes its clock speed without needing an OC process.
As mentioned, manually overclocking a GPU offers only minimal gains and depends heavily on individual circumstances.
I wouldn't exceed the power limit on those cards. From the GT1030 to 1050, you can boost performance by reducing power and overclocking.
The 1660 would maintain stock power, increase memory overclock by 500Mhz (some apps handle up to 1000Mhz), and the GPU by 25Mhz steps, typically staying below 100-200Mhz
Which version of the 1660 Ti are you referring to? I switched my BIOS on my MSI Ventus to the gaming edition due to its higher power and fan stop. In practice, for the 1660 Ti, the main way to boost performance is by maximizing the VRAM overclock. On my system, I managed to achieve 14gbps, similar to the 1660 Super's default (the standard for 1660 Ti is 12gbps).
