Hello, this is my first time setting up a PC and I’m planning to build one next month.
I intend to push the 6600k to roughly 4-4.4ghz.
I’m seeking some guidance on cooling options—any suggestions would be appreciated.
For power supply, I’m considering a good PSU from trusted brands like EVGA, CM, or Corsair.
Advice is welcome on the wattage needed for that overclock and the expected GPU power draw (around 550w or 650w).
I prefer gold-certified, semi-modular or full modular units.
Regarding cooling, if you think I should use a liquid cooler, I’d like to know how to set up airflow given my case dimensions: top 280mm, rear 280mm, front 120mm.
My parts list includes: i5 6600k, H110i, H100i v2 or H80i v2 or Dark Rock Pro 3, MSI 1060 Gaming X (or 1070 Gaming X), and NZXT Manta (Black/Red) Mini ITX (supports up to 280mm RVs and 160mm CPU clearance).
MSI Z170I GAMING PRO AC Mini ITX LGA1151 is also on the list.

With the product link provided, I was able to increase my CPU's speed to up to 4.5GHz, though power might not be the issue—my processor simply can't reach higher speeds. I also have a 1060 GAMING X 3GB, which isn't overclocked. I'm running a Hyper 212 EVO and using a budget air cooler that performs well. With that cooler, I expect around 65 to 70°C at 4.4GHz, whereas my current setup only reaches about 60°C at 4.0GHz.
