Advice for building a PC, any suggestions?
Advice for building a PC, any suggestions?
I am picking out parts for a PC, and I think I've made sure everything will work. I will be using it for some gaming, hosting a small server, but mostly just using it as my normal computer. Trying to keep it <$2000, but still don't have a monitor.
Here's the link
. As I said, I don't have a monitor, if you have any recommendations maybe under $300 that aren't too crazy, please give them, but maybe that limit is too low. Thanks!
From the start, it seems everything should function...the components appear to fit together well.
Cooler is fine. SSD is acceptable.
However, there are several aspects that don’t really interest me: motherboard, case, power supply.
What’s the main reason for choosing a 13700K instead of 13600k, 13700, 14600K, or 14700K?
Do you need a "gaming" keyboard?
Have you intentionally avoided 700-series motherboards or ATX boards in general, rather than mATX ones?
Case fans... I assume they were picked for the RGB effect?
It’s not a huge concern, but I’d probably prefer DDR 5 since the price difference isn’t significant.
Any reason to opt for 64 GB RAM instead of 32 GB except because it’s "nice to have and I might need it"?
You could easily get by with your selected parts.
