No, this doesn't seem to resolve the problem. It appears to be a broader issue that isn't limited to Asus products.

I've tried a few adjustments but haven't managed to resolve the issue. It seems like there might be a firmware problem that won't be fixed. I'm considering Black 2.0 to manage the LEDs, but right now I'm leaning toward using it as a reactive solution for my moods.
