This game is really disappointing. It seems to be a Source title from around 2004, and it might struggle to function smoothly without multiple threads. That’s quite the joke!
I've played the game all the way through, but it's not at the highest level... what's going on?
Check out TotalBiscuit's gameplay clip around the 7-minute mark. Watch someone play on a Titan with all settings turned up (no supersampling). He’ll show you how many options the game offers and even shares his own impressions. Later update: He said, “This isn’t a bad water bottle—I can actually read the label!”
The texture issue is present, but you can disable the shadow cache to test. The game runs smoothly at full settings and performs better than Battlefield 4 from a technical perspective.
update, thx to some modders, there is a modded .exe to bypass this dumb limit, so gonna report back with performance in a bit
